1. COMPLIANCE OFFICER

JSC “National Geological Service”

Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting compliance monitoring;
  • Analyzing and assessing compliance risks;
  • Managing conflicts of interest;
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of the company’s annual Compliance Program;
  • Developing and updating compliance standards and policies;
  • Developing and updating the company’s Code of Business Ethics;
  • Conducting comprehensive due diligence on counterparties in cooperation with relevant departments;
  • Implementing a whistleblowing system;
  • Communicating and enforcing compliance policies;
  • Supervising and controlling compliance-related activities;
  • Conducting investigations in cases of compliance policy violations;
  • Interacting with regulatory bodies and compliance authorities;
  • Investigating reports received via the whistleblowing system.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in law or economics;
  • Preferably a Master’s or PhD degree in business management, economics, finance, or law.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
  • At least 2 years of experience in compliance, including leadership roles;
  • Experience in developing corporate internal documents, standards, policies, and procedures related to compliance and ethics;
  • Knowledge of international practices and standards, as well as the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in compliance, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering;
  • Good understanding of business and commercial activities;
  • International experience in strategic management, decision-making, compliance program development, and corporate culture building (preferred);
  • Strong change management skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

2. HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

JSC “National Geological Service”

Required work experience: 5 years

With practical knowledge in human resource management and expert skills to identify needs, opportunities, and solutions related to organizational and personnel development.

Responsibilities:

Has knowledge of the company’s development plan, production capabilities, service technology, reporting procedures, contract execution, production economics, labor legislation, and internal work regulations.

Ensures the development of annual budgets and plans, key performance indicators, and department objectives as a basis for planning, evaluating, and adjusting HR activities.

Conducts work on forming and preparing a talent pool for promotion based on career planning policies and a continuous staff training system.

Organizes and coordinates measures to increase employee motivation through flexible incentives, improved working conditions, job enrichment, staff structure optimization, and labor discipline reinforcement.

Participates in developing comprehensive employee evaluation systems, career progression processes, and proposals for improving performance appraisal.

Controls the timely processing of hiring, transfers, and terminations in accordance with labor laws and company regulations, maintains employee records, issues work-related certificates, stores and fills out employment records, and prepares award nominations.

Ensures accurate work time tracking, vacation scheduling, and labor discipline control across company departments, enforcing internal labor regulations.

Enhances HR management processes by implementing socio-economic and socio-psychological management methods and advanced HR technologies.

Qualifications

Higher education in law, economics, or human resource management.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of practical work experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, HR accounting software, including 1C ZUP).

English proficiency at A2 level or higher (preferred).

HR GENERALIST certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
