Education: In 1980, graduated from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I. Lenin, specializing in «Technology and Equipment for Prospecting Mineral Deposits». In 1988, completed postgraduate studies at the Leningrad Mining Institute named after G.V. Plekhanov, specializing in «Development of Drilling Technology and Equipment». In 2012, completed a Ph.D. program in «Management in the Oil and Gas Industry» at the Kazakhstan-British Technical University.

1980 to 1991 – Aspirant, Scientific Research Laboratory, Institute of Mining and Oil, Engineer, Assistant Professor, Deputy Dean of the Oil Faculty at the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I. Lenin.

Ph.D., Professor of the «Oil Engineering» department at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpaev, Professor at Satbayev University, Candidate of Technical Sciences (VAK USSR, 1988), Associate Professor (VAK USSR, 1989), Academician of the Academy of Mining Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Author of more than 50 scientific papers and inventions published in journals and conferences, including those indexed in the Scopus database. Inventor of the «Diamond Drill Bit» – a USSR copyright certificate, patents in the USA, Sweden, Japan, Germany (originally filed by KazPTI named after V.I. Lenin). In 1988, the «Diamond Drill Bit” invention, after extensive industrial testing in the USSR, was accepted into serial production (under the BIT brand) at the Kabardino-Balkarian Diamond Tool Plant (now «Terekalmaz») and is still produced and used in the CIS countries. Elected Positions, Deputyship: Candidate for the Mazhilis (Lower House of the Parliament) of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the political party «Birlik» (since February 12, 2016).
