The National Geological Survey has established partnership relations with the world’s largest aerogeophysical service company.

Yerlan Galiyev, Chairman of the Board of the National Geological Survey, is participating in the annual event “Raw Materials Week” during his working visit to Brussels, organized by the European Commission.

Countries-partners from various parts of the world gathered at the opening of the Raw Materials Week forum. It is noteworthy that for the first time, a Kazakhstan Day is being held at such a large-scale event. During the business forum, participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of critical raw materials. Representatives of Kazakhstani and European companies presented their projects and services. Additionally, an agreement on cooperation was reached between the world’s largest aerogeophysical service company, Xcalibur Multiphysics Group S.L., and the National Geological Survey.

“At present, the National Geological Survey is digitizing primary geological information stored on magnetic and paper media and cartridges, which will also be publicly available on the information platform ‘MINERALS.GOV.KZ.’ Dear colleagues, the National Geological Survey is ready to provide interested companies with additional information, prepare information materials, and answer any questions. We invite interested companies to familiarize themselves with the projects. We will take all necessary measures to ensure favorable conditions for investors. We hope for further long-term cooperation,” noted Yerlan Galiyev.

Kazakhstan participates in this event as a strategic partner of the European Union in the field of critical raw materials.
